As you can see, this video of online play from Killzone 2 looks pretty hot. No lag, really, but then again, this is an official trailer. Check it out.

Remedy has apparently been following the internet buzz about their game Alan Wake. The net seems to think that the game has gone the way of the Dodo since it did not show up at E3 or even Leipzig. Well, Remedy posted a small update in the official forums to let us know things are still on track. Basically they are giving us the old "we want the game to be great" excuse.

Outspoken Silicon Knights man Denis Dyack claims he could care less about the bad Too Human reviews. As you may or may not know, Denis has basically not shut up since the disastrous E3 2006 game demo. Since then, even though the game has literally been redone, he has never stopped criticizing game forums like GAF and other outlets who have been bashing the game since then. Tomorrow we will all find out, it seems."Do I think people are going to be critical? Well people already have - people were critical about the game before they'd even played it, so I don't think that's necessarily going to change."

The expensive music peripherals that go and in hand with games like Rock Band have been drawing complaints from consumers who don't have over $100 USD to drop. Now, with the fact that some of these accessories do not even work on the other music games, gamers are angry. Well, Sony is working with Konami and Harmonix in order to make the microphone and other peripherals universal, at least on the PS3. Games like Konami's Rock Revolution and Sony's Singstar will hopefully work with Rock Band 2's microphone. Good news for us!

In correspondance between the two, both the EA and TT CEO have agreed that any acquisition agreement would not come before the Holiday season this year. Thusly, they have agreed to let the EA acquisition offer expire for now. This does not mean EA has given up, as you can read.On a totally different note, just a heads up. DM fell this past week and broke three of his ribs. Because of this, things may move a little slower this week. No, we did not forget about the GR Geometry Wars contest, we will try to verify the scores todday,. Unfortunately, when you have broken ribs, it affects everthing - talking, breathing, moving, and espeically typing. Thanks for understanding.
