The latest video from Street Fighter IV has been released. This direct feed vid is great quality, and you can really see the game's mechanics in action. Remember, the game is being debuts right now at the EVO2k8 fighting tournament in Las Vegas. The word from the guys who play SF for a living is that the game plays more like SF3: 3s minus parrying. Good or bad news that is, depends on you. One more day of tournament play is slated, so tune in tomorrow for one more day of news and vids from the latest Capcom fighters.

This video shows a sneak preview of the MS dashboard game install procedure. The video maker installs GTA IV to his Xbox360 HDD, and it fades out and back in, so we are not sure how long it took to install the full 6.9gb. You can briefly see the other features of the dashboard as the video maker goes through the menus.

We spoke with two users who were mysteriously banned from Xbox Live over the last day or two, and this is what they told us. When they called MS to find out just what happened, it was explained to them that the "mechanism" which bans users who mod their hardware for piracy had apparently been left unattended for a bit, and started banning innocent users without supervision. The phone reps have apparently explained this to a few users, although we are not sure if this is true, or simple an MS excuse, or something else entirely. It does seem a bit strange though to admit wrongdoing if you have not done anything wrong at all. MS explained that it also only affected people who had Live from the original Xbox, then switched to the Xbox360. Considering MS unbanned the users we spoke with, this seems legit, folks. (Thanks, SlAddict)Update: If you get banned from Xbox Live for no reason with the modded console code (W:0000-000B X:0000-F001 Y:00A8-6820 Z:8015-190D) the reinstated users said to call right away.

Well, earlier this month ArsTechnica reported that their mole told them a price cut was coming to the Xbox360 arcade unit to $199. Well, one of our reader sources sent us these images of the in-house computer of a store that he wished not to be named. On these screens, you can clearly see the Xbox360 price for the Arcade bundle SKU at $199.99, starting on September 7, 2008 (9/7/08). We will rumor mill it for now, but this is just about 100% assured. Just thought we'd pass it along in case you had not seen them yet, as a lower price is always good news.(Thanks xCHRISx!)

Jack Emmert, Cryptic Chief Creative Officer, spoke with the AP about the upcoming Star Terk Online, now that the game has been pushed into the forefront by the developer. Players will start the game as a captain of a small Starfleet or Klingon Empire ship. Players can then customize their characters based on known, existing races, or can even create entirely new races. Sounds promising!

Sony is really pinning a lot of hopes on the upcoming Little Big Planet. Producer Eric Fong, speaking to GI, explained that the target audience is "everyone," from the casual gamer to the hardcore."It's going to be a hardware seller. Not only do you have the platforming experience that a lot of other games will have, you have this creativity that really is exclusive to LittleBigPlanet."What really gets us is that Sony has yet to really explain just what the game is all about. Hopefully we will get some sort of preview soon.
