Nintendo has officially announced a new Nintendogs game. Nintendogs Dalmation & Friends Edition will go on sale in Europe on the 16th of June, 2006, and will feature six new breeds of dog. Click read more for the full press info.PRESS RELEASE22 May 2006 – Since the launch of Nintendogs back in October 2005, copies of this title have been flying off the shelves, with over 2.5 million copies sold in Europe and 6 million copies globally. Now Nintendo is offering canine lovers the chance to own the much sought after Dalmatian puppy, as Nintendogs Dalmatian & Friends Edition goes on sale across Europe, exclusively for the Nintendo DS from 16th June 2006.

According to GS, the UK trade paper MCV is claiming that on Monday, Nintendo of Europe will release the launch details for the DS Lite in Europe. Hopefully this is true, and hopefully our European gaming bretheren do not get raped too badly.

Craig from IGN has posted some new media and imformation from the new Super Mario Brothers for the DS. This game plus the impending release of the DS Lite in the US should put the DS at the top of the handheld market for a while.
