	It seems that even though Bungie had plans to share the new Halo game info with us, Microsoft put the kibosh on it. Microsoft did confirm that there is indeed a new Halo title in the works, but that is all the information they were willing to provide. MS claims they did not want to steal the thunder of the other E3 game title like Gears of War 2 and Fable 2. This reasoning does make some sense, as much as we are disappointed. @DM... many people think that MS is waiting for a different opportunity to reveal this game. maybe TGS or something else. basically, they are hoping to steal Nintendos and Sony's thunder at another time i guess.

probably but its been a such a disaapointment, first it was supposed to announced then it got canceled for announcement, then bungie is disapointed publisher, and now they wana announce as soon as possible,

I'd personally like to see the "prequal" that we have heard a lot about. The game based on the Forerunners who built the Halo. That would be really cool.

Also, I have heard that there is another style of Halo game that is being discussed. This one also takes place before Halo. Your character will be a genetically engineered Spartan, but in a world prior to the first Halo.

Either way, we know it is in the works...it actually sounds like two games are in the works if you listen to what the people say. But I'm quite excited. :)

I'm also excited for Prey 2 and Infinite Undiscovery!

Nice. I wonder if it would be the 3rd person Halo game i've heard about. I'm not so sure if i want a Prey 2 it had some good ideas but wasn't that great. IMO

It would be great if you are correct. I also heard about the third-person experiments that Bungie was doing. Based on what I heard, they liked Gears of War a lot and they wanted to do a third-person game that took place prior to the first Halo, where Spartans were still genetically engineered, but they didn't wear the helmets. That way additional facial detail could appear in the third-person game, similar to Gears of War.

It would be cool if that happened. I really LOVED IT in Halo 3 when you would pick up one of those BIG weapons and it would switch to third-person! Master Chief looked AWESOME with the lighting that would hit him and the reflections!
